Ambulance Variant

The MRAP Heavy Armored Ground Ambulance (HAGA) offers a spacious interior and universal mount system that can be easily reconfigurable to meet mission needs of the driver, a two-man crew, medics and patients.
HAGA’s expansive payload and advanced design features allow the medic to administer to three critical patients in reconfigurable litter stations. When the litter racks are folded in a stowed position, the medic can attend to as many as six ambulatory patients in a bench seating configuration. Additionally, the HAGA has more storage capacity for medical care items, medical equipment and oxygen tanks compared to current force medical vehicles.
Keeping the warfighters' safety as a top priority, the HAGA is clearly marked as a medical vehicle for distinct identification in the battlefield. The HAGA has the same silhouette as the RG33, which improves the protection and evacuation of the wounded.
It has state of the art exterior and interior lighting systems for patient care and features four headsets for improved internal communication.
As of August, 181 HAGA vehicles have been ordered, and 128 have been delivered, with 126 fielded to divisions in Iraq and Afghanistan. BAE Systems is delivering additional HAGA vehicles through the first quarter of 2009.
