RG33 Series 4x4 Mine-Protected Vehicle

The RG33 Series 4x4 features a raised chassis with a state-of-the-art v-shaped hull, armor system and shock-resistant seats that provide superior blast protection against anti-tank mine and improvised explosive device (IED) threats. The high-performance drive train and heavy-duty suspension are designed to enable upgrades and enhancements.
The RG33 4x4 provides an unmatched degree of mission flexibility. The four-door layout, large modular interior, high-mobility chassis and extensive equipment options make the RG33 the ideal blast-protected platform for the full spectrum of operations currently performed by troop transport vehicles. Troop-friendly features include large ballistic windows for excellent situational awareness and multiple access points for the rapid entry and exit of the crew. The highly survivable RG33 is in production in the U.S. for the U.S. Marine Corps Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle program. It is backed by BAE Systems’ world-class flexible manufacturing network and full spectrum of engineering and logistics services.
Capabilities
Mobility – Safely transports up to eight personnel and keeps pace with the Stryker Brigade Combat Team.
Survivability – Protects against anti-tank mines, IEDs, overhead blasts and hemispherical ballistic threats. Bolt-on Armor B-Kits are available for EFP and RPG protection.
Transportability – Transportable by land, rail, sea and air.
Lethality – A common weapon ring is mounted to the rooftop for integration of a wide variety of weapon systems, to include the Army's Objective Gunner Protection Kit, or remote weapon systems.
Modularity – Adaptable to multiple missions including recon, TOW/ITAS/LRAS, weapons carrier, utility and convoy protection.
Optional Equipment – Available with add-on armor, hydraulic rear ramp, medical equipment, 70KW auxiliary power unit, 120/240 AC import/export power, thermal driver’s vision enhancer, taillight camera, central tire inflation system, Transparent Armor Gun Shield and remote weapon systems.
