Multi-Security Level (MSL) Workstations with Cross-Domain Functionality

MSL Thin-Client Workstations are emerging as a vital part of modern DoD infrastructure, replacing separate PCs with one smaller, simpler, less expensive unit. They eliminate data loss and theft from laptops and desktops. Services and agencies now mandate them to be diskless to reduce this risk.

Intelligence gathering, correlation and reporting shows a need for MSL workstations to move data across security boundaries when policies permit. Thin-Clients cannot do this, so BAE Systems adds XTS for a Cross-Domain-Solution (CDS) to enable users to work with all available information quickly, accurately and securely - regardless of source.

These MSLs and XTS Guards are being installed now at SOUTHCOM, AF Space Command, NORTHCOM and many other mission-critical operations centers.

NYTOR is the leading workstation with Protection Level (PL-5) and has ability to access and display different domain information on the same screen without "leaking" data across domains. PL-5 users on SECRET networks (SIPRNET) have unclassified (NIPRNET) access over a more economical single Ethernet (and wireless) link.

XTS with STOP® OS is accredited to an Evaluated Assurance Level 5-augmented (EAL 5+) - the highest assurance rating for a general purpose US computer.

Users coordinate quickly and efficiently with coalition partners across network domains with XTS-400 Chat and "guard" applications that pass information safely and securely between two separate domains.
