Thermal Weapon Sights

The Thermal Weapon Sights (TWS) provides Soldiers with the ability to detect, observe and engage hostile targets deep in the battlefield independent of darkness and common battlefield obscurants resulting in enhanced lethality and survivability.

Three TWS variants have been developed and qualified – the LWTS for individual Soldier weapons, the MWTS for machine guns and the HWTS for crew served weapons – and are in full-rate production to meet current fielding requirements.
