L-ROD™

L-Rod™ is a light weight, low cost, highly-effective passive defense system that defeats Rocket Propelled Grenades (RPGs).

L-Rod™ employs a modular design that is adaptable to nearly all light armored vehicles. This design ensures maximum commonality across the entire fleet, permits quick and easy repairs and substantially reduces maintenance sustainment costs. 

L-Rod™ kits are deployed on the Buffalo and RG-31 and systems are being produced for the JERRV Cougar, the Caiman and other MRAP class vehicles.
