Medical Vehicle

The Medical Vehicles (MV-E and MV-T) provide critical support to Soldiers on the battlefield of tomorrow. These are the medical systems within the Future Combat Systems (FCS) Brigade Combat Team (BCT) and will have two mission modules: Treatment and Evacuation. Both variants will allow medical specialists, maneuvering with combat forces, to be closer to the casualty’s point of injury.

Each of the FCS MV mission modules will be capable of conducting medical procedures and treatments using installed networked MC4/TMIP interfaces.

The MV shares common platform elements and power train with other MGV components. Its hull utilizes advanced technology armor, which reduces weight to optimize deployability but still maintains high ballistic protection. The hybrid electric propulsion system further reduces logistics burden while improving mobility and enabling silent operation. 

Day or night, in blackout or inclement weather, the MV can provide an immediately responsive force health protection system.
