Full-Authority Digital Engine Controls
BAE Systems has a proven heritage – The EECU takes its electrical IO design from numerous recent engine control products including F414 Bravo, GP7200, and numerous other production designs. All of the IO interface requirements for the EECU are within what we’ve achieved with these heritage controls.
Low risk packaging approach – Our mechanical packaging approach reuses our T700 DEC package to a large extent; however, the printed wire boards (PWBs) will be true double-sided surface mount technology in order to maximize functional density.
An independent overspeed function is provided in each channel. A Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) performs speed computations independently.
