ARL SIGINT Upgrade

In July 2005, BAE Systems was selected to develop and deliver an upgrade to the Airborne Reconnaissance Low’s SIGINT system.

By leveraging on-going development of other programs, BAE Systems designed, proto-typed, tested and delivered the first system within the cost and schedule of the twelve month contract.

Initial flight testing confirmed performance exit criteria were met and plans are underway to field the upgrade across the ARL Fleet.

The Diamondback system is the first full function next generation SIGINT system to be fielded to legacy Army Airborne ISR platforms and provides the gap filler with growth capability to satisfy ACS requirements.
